USS Pioneer, Pioneer class

Developed in 2205. Designed for patrol and short range exploration duties. this class have very limited research capacity, due minimal labs equipment. This class is capable of stay long periods of time in space for a ship of his size thanks his big cargo bays for his size. It make more useful that the old Eisenhower class

This class was initially conceived which photonic torpedo launchers but when in 2205 the photon torpedo become a reality, this ships gets photon torpedo launchers in his construction phase. Only the prototype of this class, the USS Pioneer gets a photonic torpedo launchers.

This ships were created for Star Trek Origins fanfilm. There ships of the time of the USS Yorktown, and previous, showing how evolves starship tech from Enterprise era to the time of the Yorktown. Also, they are based over the first version of the Yorktown made by me, that have a more NX look.
